This years 2026 shirt is dedicated to Mark Handrahan, (BPD ret.) of South Boston. Mark passed away peacefully in December 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mark proudly served 36 years with the Boston Police Department, retiring as a Sergeant Detective. A highly decorated officer, Mark received numerous awards, including the BPD Medal of Honor and the Boston Police Relief Association Memorial Award. He also served as President of the Boston Police Runners Club. Before joining BPD, Mark honorably served in the U.S. Army’s 1st Cavalry Division and remained a proud patriot and dedicated supporter of veterans throughout his life.
